We want the water party back!
January 31, 2013Many penguins including me, would like the Water Party back. If CP, I mean Disney. If Disney had brains, they would bring it back, why? Because it was held in summer, water parties are actually something kids like me do in the Summer, it’s more realistic and fun. Do you really expect children to turn in to superheroes? Many penguins like the water party and I think almost everybody would enjoy it!
The last water party was held back in 2008, aka the final straw for Club Penguin. The water party has lots of pro’s.
- It was fun
- Non members actually got to have a good time
- The rooms were well decorated
- Good free items
- Good features in the party
The water party was a GREAT party, everybody liked it, but once again Disney wants to brainwash their players who are like 5 these days in to thinking these new parties are great, but sadly, they really aren’t. I also hear the dumb Superhero party is returning! What the heck! The marvel party is taking place instead of the Summer kick-off party, which was also epic. Camp penguin was pretty cool too!

January 24, 2013I was just on Sleet and Billybob logged on with his other penguin, Dale 38. He was pretty rude and ignorant as he just sat there and the only thing he said was ”Hello” every 10 minutes. :/

A taste of what once was a great game
January 24, 2013I’ve decided to post about what it was like back when Club Penguin was a simple, original, fun, awesome game. Club Penguin started back in 2005, with it’s first ‘party’ the Beta Testing Party. Well it wasn’t really a party, it was more of testing the game and searching for any bugs. Penguins were given a free Beta hat for testing CP. Club Penguin grew and grew, many cool parties and much fun to play. Here is what the old Club Penguin website used to look like.
As you can see, it was very simple, humble and original. Once Disney took over on August 1st, 2007. Many penguins like me thought, oh It’s Disney who own CP now, that’s pretty cool. Disney made a few changes during Aug 2007 to December 2007, when they did, the majority of the changes were for the better. During 2008, many new changes started to occur such as new graphics, new items, new parties and stricter rules. However this didn’t really make a huge impact. In Late 2008 is when things started to kick off. 2009 was an alright year, many famous penguins quit during this year, Disney started to introduce TERRIBLE catalogs and items, STRICT RULES and pretty lame parties.
2010 was a very disney-fied year, Club penguin now had nothing to do with Rocketsnail anymore, it sucked. I personally enjoyed the original CP because
- It was original
- A simple little game for 8-14 year olds
- You could actually talk to your friends without getting banned or kicked off the server
- No stupid parties
- No wigs
- Really cool items and catalogs
- Back then it was about expressing yourself, being original, legit, having fun, being crazy, being spontaneous.
- You could relax and not having to worry about strict rules
- Membership was cheaper
- Non Members had more rights and had some sort of equality
- Non members also got cool items, not just a lame hat
- Original graphics
- No Over the top parties
- No lag
- Conversations actually showed
- You could type numbers
- Penguins used to use their imagination and used to wear crazy outfits
- It was not all about 6 year olds acting like high school preps and jocks
- Fashion wasn’t everything
- CP used to care about the players not about the money
- Cp never used to have EGO PROBLEMS
- It was FUN.
Some pro’s of Disney?
- THERE ARE NONE.
Well maybe there were a few, the only one I liked was when they re-arranged the inventory, it was much easier to find items. Here is what the old catalogs and parties used to look like back then.

As you can see, Disney supports being a homo or a bi! Like Justin Bieber. It also has new disgusting rooms.
You can now meet some freakish preps from Disney channel on so called ‘Club penguin’ If this is the way Disney is gonna be, it should be called CLUB DISNEY. NEWS FLASH DISNEY- PENGUINS DON’T HAVE HAIR ON THEIR HEAD. THAT’S JUST WEIRD.

IT WAS ABOUT CREATIVITY back then, being crazy and fun.
Club penguin will probably never ever change. Things move on, but oh well.

CLUB PENGUIN PIN GLITCH
